Engr. José Luis Saca was appointed President of the National Association of Private Enterprise

The International Association of Broadcasting is pleased to inform its members and the media that Engineer José Luis Saca has been appointed President of the National Association of Private Enterprise (ANEP) of El Salvador.

Engineer Saca currently serves as a member of the IAB Board of Directors and holds the position of Technological Vice President of our Association. From 2015 to 2020, he served as President of IAB, a period during which he demonstrated outstanding leadership, promoting key discussions on freedom of expression, freedom of the press, and copyright.

ANEP highlighted that Engineer Saca “brings a track record of international business leadership and takes on the challenge of advancing the private sector with optimism, in a favorable environment for private enterprise driven by strengthened national security, ideal conditions to boost local and foreign investment, and the implementation of new legislation aimed at streamlining procedures and fostering private sector growth, positioning El Salvador as a regional logistics and business hub” (source: La Prensa Gráfica).

At IAB, we proudly celebrate that one of our own has assumed a position in such a distinguished institution, carrying with him the values of leadership and advocacy for the interests of the private sector that defined his tenure within our Association.
